Purchased new in January 2001 at a cost of some £104,000 this was a serious car for a serious buyer. It has remained in the same family since new until nov 2020. Under the bonnet we find the whisper quiet 5.8 litre V12 engine which pumps out 362bhp and a colossal 520NM of torque driven through the 5-speed automatic/tiptronic gearbox with winter and sport modes.
A rare car when compared to its 5.0 V8 sibling with just 6,348 built compared to some 32,224 produced of the CL500, the 5.8 naturally aspirated V12 was only available for a few years before being replaced by the 5.5 twin turbocharged V12 version.
